Advance Notice of Change of Uniform 

To improve the overall look of our uniform here at The Cooper School, it has been decided that from September 2013 girls will no longer be expected to wear a shirt and tie to school. Instead they will be asked to wear a revere collared blouse without a tie. We are also adding a black jumper to our list
of compulsory items of uniform from September.

Boys’ uniform remains the same although with the addition of a black jumper as mentioned.

For an easy transition we are moving to change in phases. Therefore, for the
academic year 2013/14:

• Year 7 - girls must only wear blouses with the compulsory jumper. 
• Years 8– 11 - girls can choose whether to wear a blouse or a shirt but must wear a tie if opting for the shirt and compulsory jumper. 

Please refer any questions about uniform to your child’s House Welfare
Manager.
